Like every year, music events are a very important part of the Festival. And like every year, music will be present not only at the Festival Club, but at the Wrocław Opera, too, where silent films with live music will be shown. Guy Maddin's film Brand Upon the Brain! will be screened with music created live by foley artists, with a narrator and orchestra. Geoff Smith will play at the screening of the oldest preserved full-length animated film in the history of cinema: The Adventures of Prince Achmed (Die Abenteuer des Prinzen Achmed) directed by Lotte Reiniger (1926) and the screening of Sir Arne's Treasure (Herr Arnes pengar) by Mauritz Stiller will be accompanied by a performance of Leszek Możdżer's Trio.
